An Introduction

I'm a Taiwanese-Canadian destination wedding planner and designer with over 13 years of experience, working with a multilingual team. I specialise in full-service, intimate wedding weekends across Europe — for couples from Asia and North America who value beauty, discretion, and an exceptional guest experience.
Each season, I work with a select number of couples — offering my undivided attention and full creative energy from the very first conversation to the final farewell of your wedding weekend.
Every engagement is fully bespoke, unfolding across three distinct phases.
"I genuinely loved the entire wedding planning process with Ariel. I could never have planned a wedding anywhere near as amazing if it weren't for her."Julie & Angelo

"Nothing we wanted or asked for was ever 'too much' or beyond her capability."
From our first Zoom meeting to the final execution, it was very clear that Ariel understood our vision — and more so, who we are as a couple and what was important to us. She always gave us her honest opinions and politely steered us in alternate directions when needed. She exuded a level of confidence even when I was in a state of panic that always left me feeling reassured. Nothing we wanted or asked for was ever too much or beyond her capability. I could never have planned a wedding anywhere near as amazing if it weren't for Ariel.

"Ariel was the backbone and the brain — and the patience."
We planned for 12+ months across time zones, and she was relentlessly responsive — even hopping on evening calls because we work daytimes. From the jump she understood what we actually wanted: guest experience over "wedding-y" frills. She engineered the day around those priorities — locking in the right DJ, fireworks timing, AV, and the run-of-show to keep energy high — while still making everything we cared less about look cohesive and elevated. On the weekend, her team worked in full sun and never let it show. The result? Exactly our wedding — and then some.

"She gave us our dream Italian wedding."
From Ariel's careful planning, creative design, and mindful execution, she gave us our dream Italian wedding. Her design proposal emulated my husband and I's personality and taste perfectly. From the booking of all our vendors to the finest details, she was there to make everything flawless and stress-free — adding personal touches that made our day even more memorable. My husband and I gained a lifelong friend in Ariel. She is a marvellous person who genuinely listened and catered to our every request.

"If you are thinking of getting married in Paris, truly look no further."
Ariel has an incredible sense of style as well as the contacts and resources to make whatever you desire happen — what she created for us went beyond our expectations. When our initial venue contract required us to work with their house florist, she negotiated us out of it and found us an even more amazing florist that ended up costing less. She worked with us through every iteration and draft, and was our single point of contact for all vendors — so we never felt overwhelmed. She felt like a friend I could always count on, and made every part of this process easy and stress-free.

"The best thing I did was hire her."
Ariel made everything so stress-free and smooth — all recommended vendors were terrific. She took care of every contact, email, and everything in between, but we are equally grateful for the smaller things she did on the wedding day, like packing up our bags and keepsakes at the end of the night. She took the stress away and I will forever be grateful.

"Deciding on Ariel was the easiest part of our entire wedding planning process."
The hardest part of planning was finding our vision — there is so much information out there that it's easy to lose track of what you truly want. Ariel helped us narrow it down by taking the time to get to know us individually and as a couple. After our very first Zoom call, Michael turned to me and said: "Ariel feels like a sister or a close friend who happens to be an expert in wedding planning." She created mood boards that were truly reflective of who we are, connected us to vendors we loved, and always gave us a friendly nudge to keep us on track. We couldn't have chosen anyone better — and we have also made a great friend.
Dale & Michael Hycroft Manor · VancouverI take on only the weddings I can give everything to — and when the fit is right, my couples tell me they'd do it all over again. I hope yours might be one of them.
My fee reflects the depth of involvement, creative direction, and personal attention I bring to every celebration. Each proposal is tailored to your wedding's specific vision, guest count, location, and event structure.
Your custom proposal follows your discovery consultation.
Planning a destination wedding comes with many unknowns. Here are the questions I hear most often — everything else we can explore together in your discovery call.
I present multiple options in every category — florists, photographers, caterers, musicians — across different styles and price points. Over 13 years working in France, Italy, and beyond, I've built relationships with some of the finest vendors in the industry. My recommendations are based entirely on fit, quality, and your vision — I never take commissions, so every suggestion is made solely in your interest.
I may be biased — but I genuinely believe so. A destination wedding involves coordinating an entire international team across different time zones, languages, and cultural nuances. I navigate all of that on your behalf, so that what you experience is the joy of planning, not the complexity underneath it.
All planning is managed through Aisle Planner, a shared online workspace — so everything is organised, accessible, and in one place. Beyond that, I offer unlimited email and video support, with regular check-in meetings that increase in frequency as your wedding approaches. I'm available across time zones, and work in whichever language feels most natural to you.
Travel within my seasonal European calendar is included — I don't charge separately for airfare to destinations I work in regularly. For weddings further afield or outside my existing schedule, travel costs may apply and would be discussed transparently as part of your proposal.
I work with a select number of couples each season — enough to give every wedding my full creative energy and personal attention. Availability is limited by design, and each couple I work with receives the same level of care from our first conversation to the final farewell of their wedding weekend.
A complimentary 30-minute conversation to hear about your vision and explore whether we're the right fit.
